changes name
New Mexico Business Weekly - February 28, 2007
Western Office Systems has changed its name to Improve Group and moved into an enlarged corporate headquarters at 3500 Pan American Freeway NE.
Improve Group acquired its new headquarters and is using 8,000 square feet while seeking a sublease for 5,000 square feet. The company was founded in 1973 and was located at 8011 Central Ave. NE where it had 6000 square feet.
CEO Marvin Procter said the company changed its name to better reflect its consulting services and information management systems.
The company's clients include the Sandia and Los Alamos National laboratories as well Kirtland Air Force Base and the University of New Mexico.
Revenues reached $15 million in 2006 on the strength of a Denver office that opened in 2005. Proctor anticipates hiring another five employees in Albuquerque and another five to seven in Denver this year.
